Summer vacation is the peak time for travelling and gatherings with a large number of people moving around. It can be very uncomfortable to wear masks in hot weather. However, the pandemic situation is still very serious with new confirmed cases in several parts of China. This is an alarming call to remind us that we should not relax our efforts in COVID prevention.

Eligible students should take the Coronavirus vaccine as early as possible if you haven’t done so.

Try not to go to public places with a large flow of people.
Instructions for Returning to school
Students returning from a low-risk area should return to Shijiazhuang 14 days in advance, allowing sufficient time for home quarantine. Take your temperature every morning, afternoon, and evening. Students returning from a medium to high-risk area need to delay your return to Shijiazhuang until further notice.
Parents shall assist and supervise children to do self-health monitoring at home. Before returning to school, please take your child's temperature. If anything abnormal, please be advised to take your child to the hospital immediately for diagnose and treatment, and report your child's health condition to the school. Please try not go to school if the child has illness, and do not hide or lie about any health conditions.
If the child has an infectious disease, he/she must be fully recovered and obtain a certificate of Returning to School Permission which must be verified by the school medical officer, before he/she can return to school. During the pandemic period, parents should avoid contacting strangers as much as possible.
Prepare adequate and appropriate personal protective equipment for your child, such as masks, disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, etc.
Help to adjust the physical and mental state of the child. Try to keep the daily routine of study, leisure and rest as close to the normal school schedule as possible. Have nutritious food and proper physical exercise every day. Avoid having meals out during the pandemic outbreak.
